I’m J.J. Lyon, the lead technician behind Lyon Pinball. For over two decades, I haven’t just played pinball—I’ve been studying what makes them tick. What started as a passion has evolved into a professional dedication to keeping these incredible machines alive across the UK.

From Vintage to Modern Whether you own a vintage Electro-Mechanical (EM) classic with clacking relays or a complex 90s Williams/Bally or modern Stern machine, I have the diagnostic tools and experience to get your game flipping smoothly again.

My Philosophy: Preservation First I don’t just swap parts blindly. My focus is on preserving the originality of your machine. Whenever possible, I skillfully repair and renew existing components to maintain their authenticity and value. If a replacement is absolutely necessary, I use only high-quality parts that match original specifications.

I then found Lyon Pinball on google searching for reliable pinball repair close to me. I reached out and Juan immediately had me sending photos of the test report and all the hardware to diagnose the faults and decide how to repair them. He knew exactly how to resolve each issue and through a video call we managed to repair my machine! His service and expertise are excellent. He was so helpful from the first time I messaged him and even gave suggestions of things to look at first to save me having the call out charge if it wasn't needed. The communication was excellent and was clear on the cost. Quick service , i couldn't be happier with his service and would highly recommend him for any pinball repairs.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Juan certainly knows what he is doing. Our 110V pinball stopped working after having been connected to 220V. Juan came out prepared, replaced the more obvious parts and also found some potentially related issues which could have also been caused by our machine aging and not having been used for a while. He had the right spare capacitors with him to replace the broken ones and the machine worked again. Addionally he replaced some broken rubber rings and targets and cleaned the machine.
And what’s really useful: He changed the settings to 240V, so we won’t kill it again! I couldn’t be any happier with the result and would recommend him 100%!
